ABOUT THIS BOOK
January 1945; The Nazis are losing WW2, but Adolf Hitler believes his Wonder Weapons will turn the tide. Rocket bombs rain on London, Nazi jet fighters are in the skies, and the Ultra Secret Projekt America – a jet bomber capable of reaching New York with an atomic weapon - is near completion. If successful it will change the course of the war.
In underground factories slave workers and British Prisoners Of War are forced to work on the Nazi plans. MI 9 - Britain’s top-secret POW contact agency – knows some are working on a weapon more devastating and destructive than ever seen before.
MI5 Spymaster Commander Ian Fleming is given the job to get an RAF officer, who knows exactly what the Nazis are up to, back to London.
To complicate things Squadron Leader James Hill is an inveterate escaper and has been sent to the “bad boys” camp, Colditz, seven hundred miles inside Nazi Germany.
Fleming sends his most experienced man – Major Bill Leonard– and a unit of turned German prisoners - into the heart of the beast. Len’s mission, to get Hill out of Colditz and destroy Projekt Amerika.
